10/28/07 08:30 Deer Park hosted a Town of Babylon Stage 1 Hazardous Materials Drill to the rear of P.C. Richards On Commack Rd. The drill simulated a L.I.R.R. Double Decker Car which collided with a tractor trailer carrying a unknown type of hazardous materials with numerous victims on board the train. Haz Mat teams found the "unknown chemical" to be Chlorine & a total of 18 victims were treated.

10/21/07 18:00 Republic Crash / Fire Rescue & East Farmingdale responded to the Republic Airfield for two planes who had collided in mid air and landed @ Republic. EFFD worked along with CFR crews to secure and foam 2 planes with significant damage and controlled a large fuel spill.
