1/1/09 Wyandanch-Wheatly Heights Ambulance responded to a shooting victim in front of 1528 Straight Path. M/A was requested from North Babylon forthwith to the scene. 1-8-17 transported one victim to Good Sam.
1/2/09 20:56 Deer Park responded to a pedestrian struck @ Deer Park Ave & Old Country Rd. 1-4-30 advised the victim was D.O.A.
1/2/09 18:44 North Babylon responded to a working fire @ 75 Lafayette Ave. 1-8-32 & an Ex-Capt assisted the removal of two occupants from the home. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire with a can. M/A was requested from West Babylon for R.I.T. 1-8-7 & 1-8-14 transported two victims to Good Sam and West Babylon transported one firefighter with minor injuries to Good Sam.
1/3/09 21:33 North Amityville was alerted to a working house fire at 55 Chestnut Rd. Firefighters from 1-7-10 quickly extinguished a heavy fire condition on the second floor of a 2 sty pvt dwelling. M/A was requested from East Farmingdale for R.I.T., North Lindenhurst for a tower ladder to the scene, & Copiague for an engine to the scene.

1/5/09 22:31 Babylon responded to the Village Common Condos, 54 Greenmeadow Dr. Firefighters from 1-2-3 stretched two inch & ¾ lines to quickly extinguish a bedroom fire on the second floor.
1/6/09 18:30 Copiague was requested forthwith to the scene of a auto accident with entrapment at the intersection of Montauk Highway & Venetian Prom. Firefighters extricated a heavily entrapped victim who was seriously injured. One victim with serious injuries was transported by 1-3-1 with A.L.S. to Good Sam.

1/6/09 18:50 West Babylon responded forthwith to the scene of a pedestrian struck in front of 309 Great East Neck Rd. 1-9-7 transported a female with head trauma to Good Sam.
1/7/09 08:30 Deer Park E.M.S responded to 505 Acorn St for a male with multiple fingers amputated. 1-4-3 transported the victim to Huntington hospital.
1/7/0915:00 East Farmingdale was alerted to a pedestrian struck @ Rt. 110 & Milbar Blvd. E.F.V.F.CO. transported one victim to N.U.M.C. & requested the trauma room.
1/10/09 14:15 North Amityville responded to an auto accident with entrapment @ RT. 110 & Jefferson Ave. Firefighters used the jaws to remove a door on one of the autos involved. 1-7-7 & 1-7-8 both transported victims.
1/10/09 15:35 Wyandanch fire & ambulance both responded to a pedestrian struck by a train at the Wyandanch Railroad Station, Long Island Ave. & Straight Path. 1-10-30 requested the power to be shut off. The victim was D.O.A.
1/12/09 09:44 Deer Park responded to a hazardous materials incident @ 81 Lake Ave off E. 3RD Street. 1-4-30 arrived on scene and advised he had a 5,000 gallon diesel fuel tank with a active leak & a large amount of product on the ground. The Town of Babylon Fire Marshal’s Office was requested to the scene with 1-0-49.

1/12/09 23:09 Copiague was alerted to a stabbing victim at 400 Oak Street. 1-3-2 transported a victim with several stab wounds to Good Sam.
1/13/09 22:50 West Babylon E.M.S. was requested forthwith to the scene of a shooting @ 7-11, 915 Straight Path. 1-9-7 transported a 21 y/o male shooting victim to Good Sam.
1/16/09 11:30 East Farmingdale responded to a C.O. incident with victims at Airport Plaza off Conklin Street & RT. 110. East Farmingdale command requested a stage 1 disaster plan be activated by B.C.F.A. Each department in the Town of Babylon sent one ambulance to the scene. South Farmingdale, Farmingdale & Melville were also mutual aided to the scene for meters & ambulances. Babylon, Farmingdale, & Melville both transported victims to area hospitals.
1/16/09 19:44 Lindenhurst responded for an overturned auto @ N. Delaware & Hoffman. 1-6-7 transported one victim to Good Sam.
1/19/09 08:35 East Farmingdale was alerted to a working general alarm @ 1670 New Highway. Firefighters stretched a 2 1/2 inch line to extinguish a working street sweeper fire inside a building. M/A was requested from the Village of Farmingdale for Ladder 926 to act as FAST. Melville was also requested for an engine to the scene.

1/20/09 21:40 Copiague was alerted to a working fire in a vacant building @ 1075 Montauk Highway. Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire on the first floor with one line. M/A was requested from Lindenhurst for R.I.T.
1/26/09 06:00 North Amityville was alerted to a working house fire @ 133 43RD. Street. M/A was requested from Copiague for an engine & ambulance to the scene, North Lindenhurst was requested for R.I.T.
1/27/09 14:40 East Farmingdale responded to a working fire @ 19 Nancy Street. Firefighters controlled a large pile of rubbish burning. M/A was requested from West Babylon for R.I.T. & Wyandanch for an engine to the scene. The mutual aid was quickly returned.

1/27/09 21:15 North Lindenhurst was requested forthwith to a pedestrian struck by auto at the intersection of 51ST. Street & North Wellwood Ave. 1-11-7 transported one female to Good Sam in traumatic arrest.
1/30/09 17:05 Lindenhurst firefighters used one line to control a fire in the walls of a private dwelling @ 404 S. 4Th. Street.
1/30/09 21:40 North Babylon responded to a auto accident # 11 Jean Drive off Weeks Rd. 1-8-14 requested clearance to the trauma room for a female unconscious, 1-8-17 also transported to Good Sam.
1/31/09 04:15 West Babylon was requested forthwith to the scene of a shooting victim @ 111 Kellum Street. 1-9-30 advised 1-9-9 was en route to Good Sam with a 32 y/o male with a gun shot wound to the head & chest.
