12/4/08 09:00 Deer Park E.M.S. was requested forthwith to the scene of a male who fell off a roof. Aviation was requested but given a disregard. The victim was transported to Good Sam in serious condition.
12/5/08 07:55 Wyandanch responded to a fire @ The Salvation & Deliverance Church, 1498 Straight Path. 1-10-30 requested Arson & the Town Fire Marshal to respond. No mutual aid was requested.
12/5/08 11:00 North Amityville was alerted to a working house fire, 696 County Line Rd. Firefighters stretched multiple lines to extinguish heavy fire in a 2 sty private dwelling. Mutual aid was requested from Amityville, Copiague, East Farmingdale, & North Lindenhurst to the scene.
12/5/08 18:10 North Lindenhurst was alerted for multiple vehicles on fire, in front of King Bear, 21 West Sunrise Highway. A total of 3 cars were involved and the fire was extinguished with one line off 1-11-1.

12/7/08 19:40 East Farmingdale responded to a person struck by a train, Long Island Ave & Little East Neck Rd. 1-5-31 advised the victim was D.O.A.
12/8/08 11:25 West Babylon E.M.S. was requested to respond forthwith to the scene of a pedestrian struck by an auto on the corner of 13Th. Street & Straight Path. 1-9-30 advised one victim being transported by ground with CPR in progress to Good Sam.
12/10/08 02:32 Lindenhurst was activated for a car into house with fire @ 554 N. Wellwood Ave @ Perry Street. Firefighters stretched two lines to control the car fire which was up against the house. The driver of the auto fled on foot & was located by S.C.P.D. The driver was transported by 1-6-17 to Good Sam with minor injuries.
12/11/08 21:40 Deer Park was requested by S.C.P.D. to the scene of a stabbing @ 129 Bay Shore Rd. 1-4-5 transported one victim to Good Sam.
12/17/08 09:40 North Babylon responded to a overturn with entrapment @ Sylvan Rd & Miller Ave. 1-8-32 requested a re-tone for 1-8-15 to respond. The victim was extricated in 8 minutes. 1-8-17 transported one victim to Good Sam.
12/21/08 21:10 North Babylon was alerted to a working fire at 201 Belmont Ave. Firefighters stretched one line to control a working fire in a 2 sty private dwelling. M/A was requested from West Babylon for R.I.T.
12/23/0814:00 East Farmingdale responded to a building on Bi County Blvd & Sea Lane for a hazardous materials incident. A test tube with chemicals inside of it had broken and spilled onto a worker. Haz Mat technicians suited up to investigate & migrate the situation. Decon was set up and the victim was transported to N.U.M.C.
12/24/08 06:35 East Farmingdale was alerted to a early morning working general alarm @ Straight Path & Edison Ave. Firefighters stretched a 2 1/2 line to extinguish the fire in a end store of a 1 sty taxpayer. M/A was requested from West Babylon for R.I.T. & North Lindenhurst for 1-11-4 to the scene.
12/25/08 04:15 Deer Park responded to 461 Skidmore Rd for two cars on fire in the drive way impinging the dwelling. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire with out any extension to the dwelling.
12/25/08 04:50 North Amityville was requested forthwith to the scene of an auto accident at Great Neck Rd & Columbus Blvd. 1-7-8 transported one victim in unknown condition. 1-7-31 LIPA was requested for a shattered pole.
12/27/08 13:45 North Lindenhurst responded to a hazardous materials incident @ 639 North Wellwood. North Lindenhurst Chief's arrived to find two chlorine bombs, one of which had already been set off. North Lindenhurst units staged & the Town of Babylon Fire Marshal's Office responded with 1-0-48. The scene was turned over to the Suffolk County Police Dept, all fire department units took up with in a half hour.
12/27/08 East Farmingdale responded to a auto accident with a pin & multiple aided @ RT. 110 & Price Pwky. M/A was requested from South Farmingdale & Farmingdale Village for ambulances to the scene.
12/28/08 18:00 Amityville was alerted for a interior gas leak at 34 Meadow Lane off South Bayview Ave. Upon arrival of 1-1-30 he found a high pressure gas line had been ruptured in the dwelling. Just as the occupants of the home and surrounding residents were evacuated the house exploded. M/A was requested from Massapequa for a F.A.S.T. Team & Copiague for 1-3-4 to the scene. One precautionary line was stretched off 1-1-6 to stand by. No injuries were reported.

12/29/08 20:00 Deer Park was alerted for a auto accident with overturn @ Old Country Rd & Deer Park Ave. Firefighters extricated a trapped subject. 1-4-3 & 1-4-5 both transported victims to Good Sam.
12/30/08 10:53 North Babylon responded to a motor vehicle accident involving 1-8-32 at the intersection of Belmont Ave & Peconic Ave. 1-8-32 & a civilian were transported to Good Sam with minor injuries.
