8/24/06 20:17 North Lindenhurst responded to a auto accident with entrapment on Wellwood Ave @ the Sunrise Overpass. Firefighters used the hurst tool to remove the door to extricate the victim who was transported to Good Sam.
8/23/06 08:00 East Farmingdale EMS personnel were requested forthwith to the scene of a pedestrian struck by a auto at the intersection of Rt. 110 & Daniel Street. The victim was airlifted via S.C.P.D. Helicopter to N.U.M.C. where he was pronounced DOA.

The driver was airlifted to Stony Brook with chemical burns to his body. 1-8-30 advised that 60 gallons of Sulfuric Acid had spend spilled, M/A was requested from East Farmingdale & West Babylon for Haz Mat Techs to the scene.
