4/29/06 00:40 East Farmingdale responded to motor vehicle accident with entrapment at Wellwood Ave & Rt. 109. Firefighters extricated a heavily trapped subject from one of the autos. SCPD Aviation was requested but not used. Two trauma victims were transported to the hospital.
4/28/06 19:50 North Babylon was alerted to a auto accident with a victim trapped & unconscious. M/A was requested from Deer Park for an ambulance to the scene. A total of 3 victims were transported to Good Sam.
4/27/06 04:15 East Farmingdale was alerted to a working General Alarm at 1815 Rt. 110, the Ice Night Club, originally received as an automatic fire alarm. Firefighters stretched two lines to extinguish several fires with in the club that had been contained by the sprinkler system. M/A was requested from Farmingdale for RIT.

4/23/06 02:10 North Babylon was alerted to a working house fire @ 71 Kane Place. M/A was requested from West Islip for a FAST Team & Deer Park for an engine to the scene.
4/21/06 14:55 Deer Park & Brentwood responded back to the Edgewood Property for a brush fire. M/A was requested from North Babylon for a stump jumper to the scene.
4/21/06 14:50 Copiague responded to a auto accident on Montauk Highway near Baylawn Ave. Copiague Ambulance 1-3-1 transported a male in cardiac arrest to Good Sam.
4/20/06 17:00 Copiague firefighters were alerted to a brush fire at Tanner Park. Firefighters battled a large fire involving the dunes. M/A was requested from Amityville for a full department response & Lindenhurst for 1-6-25 (High Water / Brush Unit) Firefighters used master streams to knock down the main body of fire.
4/20/06 13:30 Deer Park & Brentwood operated at a large brush fire in the Edgewood Preserve. M/A was requested from; All Town of Babylon Depts for brush trucks, engines, & ambulances to the scene, Dix Hills, Bellport, Bohemia, Bethpage, Blue Point, Commack, Cold Spring Harbor, East Islip, Farmingdale, Holbrook, Huntington Manor, Huntington, Holtsville, Islip, Kings Park, Mastic, Melville, Nesconset, North Patchogue, & Sayville all to the scene.
4/17/06 16:10 Babylon responded to a brush fire on Sand Island in the Great South Bay. M/A was requested from Lindenhurst for their boat to respond, Amityville also responded with their boat. Lindenhurst & Babylon firefighters attempted to control the fire but due to the size & inaccessibility, command decided to let the fire burn itself out.
4/17/06 03:20 East Farmingdale was alerted to a working fire @ 801 14Th. Street. First due units encountered a heavy fire condition through out the vacant dwelling. The deck gun of 1-5-1 was used to knock down a heavy volume fire, firefighters then aggressively fought the fire from the interior. M/A was requested from West Babylon for RIT, & an engine to the scene, also North Lindenhurst for 2 engines to the scene.
4/14/06 22:45 Copiague firefighters responded to a van fire next to their substation at Great Neck Rd & Dixon Ave. As firefighters arrived with the engine, the van which was loaded with oxygen cylinders exploded. Firefighters then quickly stretched a line to extinguish the remaining fire. An ambulance was requested forthwith for a male that suffered burns prior to the explosion. Ex-Chief Carl Lombardo is credited for removing the subject before the explosion occurred. Copiague EMS transported the victim to N.U.M.C. with 3rd degree burns to his lower body area. Crews remained on scene for several hours as Arson Investigators sifted through the debris, conducting their investigation.

4/13/06 03:45 North Amityville was alerted to a working house fire @ 19 Chevy Chase Lane. Firefighters had a difficult time reaching the fire due to the interior stairs being compromised by fire. M/A was requested from Copiague & Amityville to the scene.
4/11/06 00:10 East Farmingdale responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Rt. 110 & East Main Street. SCPD Aviation was requested to the scene to airlift a seriously injured victim.
4/10/06 22:45 Babylon responded to a fully involved vacant house @ # 20 Belton Lane off Main Street. Firefighters quickly knocked down a heavy volume of fire with master streams. M/A from West Babylon was requested for an engine to stand by at BFD HQ.
4/8/06 19:05 North Amityville was requested forthwith to the scene of an overturned auto with a victim trapped and one ejected on the Southern State Pwky. M/A was requested from East Farmingdale for ALS & Two ambulances to the scene. SCPD Aviation responded with two helicopters and NCPD also responded with one. One victim was DOA.
4/5/06 02:50 Copiague was alerted to a working house fire at #250 Brooksite Court. Firefighters encountered a heavy fire condition upon arrival. Rescue was requested for residents who jumped out the rear windows. M/A was requested from Lindenhurst for RIT.
4/4/06 11:10 West Babylon EMS responded to the Bergen Point Sewage Plant for a male who was electrocuted. A SCPD medivac was requested to airlift the victim to Stony Brook.
4/2/06 11:40 West Babylon responded to a auto accident involving a pole & wires down at Fleets Point Drive & Montauk Highway. 1-9-32 requested 1-9-7 to respond forthwith & a re-tone for ALS to the scene.
